纤维低聚糖/寡糖，同源性的功能性低聚糖–上海金山科研平台
纤维低聚糖是一种同源性的功能性低聚糖。纤维低聚糖又称纤维寡糖，通常指由2-10个葡萄糖依靠beta-1，4糖苷键相连而成的线性低聚糖。
纤维低聚糖不被消化吸收而直接进入大肠内，为双歧杆菌所利用，具有肠道调节作用，可作为功能性食品或食品添加剂。纤维低聚糖还带有一定的甜味，可以作为食品的调味料，尤其适合用作糖尿病患者的甜味剂。另外，纤维低聚糖因其结构刚性，分子质量小，稳定性好的特性，还可以应用于制药工业和化妆品工业。
